TESTING & INSPECTION

Here at Buzz Electrical we have set up our own technical division Buzz Technical to oversee periodic inspection and testing, as well as the testing and certification of our own electrical work.
 
Electrical inspection and testing is a big part of our business and we are able to offer complete Testing and Inspection services, providing you with a detailed report on the condition of your electrical installation.

Current legislation requires that electrical installations are maintained in a safe condition and therefore must be periodically tested. The testing of electrical systems is a statutory obligation for properties with public access such as schools, churches, restaurants and offices (3 – 5 years). For privately owned domestic properties it is advisable that the electrical installation of all properties are tested and inspected at regular intervals and no longer than once every ten years. Carrying out these tests will ensure that all your systems are safe and fully functioning. 

We use the latest software systems to provide accurate high quality validated reports and certification. From an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) we can determine if remedial works are required to bring the installation up to the recommended standards. This report is recognized and increasingly required by councils, major insurance companies and mortgage lenders. We are also fully ‘Part P’ approved in compliance with Building Regulations for Domestic properties.

• Electrical Installation Condition Reports
• PAT Testing: 
(e.g. Office Equipment, Site tools, Portable Appliances (Normally any appliance used by a business that has a 13amp plug top fitted)
• Inspections & Surveys: 
(Commercial properties, normally 5 year intervals, Industrial properties, normally 3 year intervals, Domestic properties 5 - 10 year intervals)
• Landlord Electrical Reports: 
(A full inspection is needed at 5 year intervals, routine visual checks yearly, or on change of tenancy)
