18th Century Worcestershire Family Home

Buzz Electrical Ltd were contracted to carry out the full electrical installation to a new elegant, neo-gothic Garden Folly in 2020 which was built within the grounds of an 18th- century mansion in Worcestershire. The main building contractor for this project was J Rigg Construction Ltd.

• Completed general alterations at the incoming mains position within the main house for subsequent installation of a submain cable from the house incoming supply to feed the new Folly this was run discreetly through the cellar areas and then over to the new Folly via a trench where this is terminated into a new dedicated distribution board to feed the circuits throughout the Folly.
• General ‘sympathetic’ electrical installation to the new Folly. Due to the nature of the building, there were limited routes for the installation of cabling, which was challenging, but overcome by a coordinated design between all the professional parties involved on the project i.e., the main contractor, interior designer and Quinlan Terry Architects.
• Install new electrical accessories from Forbes & Lomax specified by interior designers Rosanna Bossom Interiors Ltd alongside carefully considered light fittings to give an ageless yet modern twist to this beautiful building.
